HitCue is live

v1.0 · April 5, 2026

What's new

HitCue v1.0 is available on iOS and Android. Import your script, assign your character, and start studying from day one.

Why it matters for your rehearsal

Most actors prepare across too many places — a PDF reader, a notes app, a voice memo, a group chat. None of it connects. You spend time finding things instead of studying them.

HitCue keeps the script, your lines, your character notes, and your cast in one place. You open the app and you're already in the work.

What's in v1.0

  • Script import — upload PDF, Word, or plain text; AI structures it into acts, scenes, and dialogues
  • My Lines — filter any scene to your character's dialogue only
  • Cue mode — practice your responses in the context of the scene
  • Character notes — build your character profile alongside the script
  • Scene notes — attach preparation notes to each scene
  • Cast sharing — invite cast members via link
  • Dialogue recordings — record and share audio takes within the script
  • Free and Pro — core tools are free; shared notes, recordings, and unlimited scripts require Pro

How to get started

  1. Download HitCue from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Create a free account
  3. Upload your script
  4. Select your character when parsing completes
  5. Open any scene and start
