Line Count per Scene and Queued Parsing Indicator

v1.7.1 · May 12, 2026

What's new

Line count per scene. Each scene card now shows a small badge with how many of your lines are in that scene. Your total line count also appears in the script card header. Useful for planning which scenes to prioritise before a rehearsal.

Queued parsing indicator. When a script is waiting in the analysis queue, a clear banner now appears on the script card with the message "Analysis starting soon." No more uncertainty about whether the upload was received.

Why it matters for your rehearsal

Knowing your line density per scene changes how you plan a study session. A scene with twelve of your lines needs a different block of time than one where you only have two cues. Having that count visible without opening the scene makes it faster to decide where to focus.

The queued parsing indicator solves a small but recurring moment of friction: you upload a script, the card shows no content yet, and you're not sure if something went wrong or if it's just processing. The banner removes that ambiguity.

How to use it

See your line count

  • Open the script hub — each scene card now shows a line count badge next to the scene title
  • The script card header shows your total line count across all assigned characters

Track a queued script

  • Upload a script and return to the script list
  • If the script is waiting in the queue, a "Analysis starting soon" banner appears on the card
