Full Script View and Offline Study

v1.6.1 · May 7, 2026

What's new

Full script view. A new button on the script page opens a single scrollable view of the complete script — all acts, all scenes, all lines in one continuous list. No switching between scenes. Supports character filter, scene jump, bookmarks, scene notes, progress tracking, and dialogue recordings, all within the same view.

Offline study. The scene view, lines view, and full script view now work without an internet connection.

Show original script. A new action in the script menu opens the original uploaded file — PDF, Word, or plain text — directly from within the app.

Why it matters for your rehearsal

Studying a long production scene by scene means constant navigation: open scene, study, go back, find next scene, repeat. The full script view removes that friction. You scroll the whole script the way you'd read a book, with all the study tools — character filter, blackout mode, bookmarks — available inline.

Offline study matters most in rehearsal spaces with poor connectivity: basements, back rooms, touring venues. Pro users no longer need to plan around Wi-Fi availability. Scripts cached from a previous session are fully accessible.

The original file access is useful when you need to reference the director's annotations or check pagination against the printed script — something that wasn't possible from within the app before.

How to use it

Open the full script view

  1. Open a script and tap the Full button on the script detail page
  2. Scroll through the complete script — use the character filter or scene jump to navigate

Study offline

  • Scripts you've already opened are available offline automatically
  • If you lose connection while studying, the app continues without interruption

Open the original file

  1. Open a script and tap the actions menu
  2. Tap Show original script to open the uploaded file
